Kaloeidena Monastery

Kaloeidena Monastery is now ruined and it’s located in Ano Meros, in a green landsape with plane trees and fountains, with a great view to Fourfouras. Monastery was possibly founded during 13th-14^th century. During Ottoman Empire it kept on working but was destroyed after the Revolution of 1821. The restoration of the monastery took place some years ago, where there are still traces of its original iconography.
